Surgical Workshop: November 5, 2025
Overview and Vision:
Join us on November 5th, 2025, for an intensive, hands-on surgical workshop designed for ophthalmic surgeons of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. This workshop, held by the EgSCRS in collaboration with Foresight Health care consultancy, aims to enhance your surgical skills, decision-making, and confidence in performing complex ophthalmic procedures.

This is a Truly Immersive Learning Experience, Combining:





Hands-on Training Stations
Participants will have 30 minutes of hands on for each registered station, gaining practical experience with wet lab eyes and dry lab artificial eye models. The workshop will cover a wide range of subspecialties, including:
capsulorhexis, soft and hard nuclei practice.
Explore various methods for secure intraocular lens implantation (Yamani ,Iris claw) .
Learn techniques for managing iris defects and abnormalities.
Gain proficiency in both traditional and advanced glaucoma procedures, including:
- Subscleral trabeculectomy, Valve Implants 1 station
- Endoscopic Cyclophotocoagulation (ECP) 1 station
Iris retractors and Malyguin ring
Explore techniques for managing corneal pathologies (PK, DALK).
Loading and implantation techniques.
Perfect your technique for delivering intravitreal medications.
